The Director General, Oyo State Liaison Office Lagos and Abuja, and a close aide to Governor Seyi Makinde, Dr. Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji, popularly known as Otope, paid a courtesy visit to the revered Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Grand Imam of Oyo State, and Grand Patron of the League of Imams and Alfas of Yorubaland, Edo, and Delta States, His Eminence, Sheikh AbdulGaniy Abubakry Agbotomokekere, to celebrate his birthday anniversary.
During the visit, Dr. Ezekiel Oladimeji, who also serves as the President, OTOPE Foundation, extended heartfelt congratulations and warm birthday wishes to the Islamic leader. In his brief remarks, he expressed deep admiration for Sheikh Agbotomokekere’s unwavering commitment to peace, unity, and spiritual guidance across Yorubaland and beyond.
He prayed for continued good health and long life for the Chief Imam, noting that his leadership has been a blessing not only to the Muslim Ummah but to the entire people of Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
“Your Eminence, your life is a beacon of wisdom, peace, and compassion. On behalf of the Otope Foundation and in my official capacity, I pray that Almighty Allah grants you more strength and years in divine service,” Dr. Oladimeji stated.
The visit was marked by mutual respect, prayers, and a reaffirmation of support for the cleric’s continued leadership in advancing religious harmony and moral guidance in society.
