The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, has approved the appointment of Mr. Abayomi Fagbenro as the new Special Adviser on Security.
The governor also approved the appointment of Prince Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi (AROSAD) as the Board Chairman of the Pacesetter Mineral Development Company.
The appointments were conveyed in letters signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi.
Mr. Fagbenro previously worked at the Department of Defense, Army Network Enterprise Centre, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, United States, between October 2007 and August 2012. He received military training at Great Lakes, Illinois, Chicago, and also attended East Coast Polytechnic Institute (ECPI) and Strayer University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems.
Prince Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi attended the University of Abuja, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. He previously served as both the Caretaker Committee Chairman and Executive Chairman of Oyo East Local Government.
While congratulating the duo, Governor Makinde described the appointments as a call to service and urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them.
The appointments take immediate effect.
