Jubril Dotun Sanusi Promises Cash Reward for Oyo Weightlifter, Rofiat Lawal if Clinches Gold Medal at the Olympics Today

The Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland and CEO of Ilaji Hotel and Sports Resort, Chief (Engr) Jubril Dotun Sanusi, has made a generous promise to Commonwealth gold medalist Rofiat Lawal MON. Sanusi has pledged a cash reward if she secures a gold medal in the ongoing Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Sanusi expressed that this gesture is intended to motivate Rofiat, encouraging her to believe in her abilities. He emphasized his confidence in her potential to make Oyo State and Nigeria proud on the global stage.

Rofiat Lawal MON is set to compete today in the women’s 59kg weight class at the South Paris Arena inside the Paris Expo Complex.

Sanusi wished her the best of luck in her pursuit of Olympic gold.
