The inaugural meeting of the JDS Project Group took place on November 26, 2024. As a continuation of the regular online interactions established since the group’s inception, this maiden virtual gathering marked a significant milestone in fostering unity and collaboration among members.

The meeting recorded impressive attendance, with nearly all Council Coordinators participating. It was a heartwarming session where attendees engaged in meaningful dialogue, shared ideas, and strengthened their bond in pursuit of the collective vision for JDS 2027.
Key discussions during the meeting centered on critical strategies and mechanisms essential to advancing the shared goal of achieving the JDS vision. The State Coordinator, Alhaji (Hon.) Gbadamosi Kazeem Adeyemi, addressed concerns about the commitment of the group’s Principal, Engr. Jubril Dotun Sanusi, to his gubernatorial ambition. He unequivocally assured all participants that the JDS vision 2027 remains unwavering, emphasizing its certainty and viability.
In his remarks, Hon. Obalowo Olugbenga urged Coordinators to remain proactive and dedicated to the project, emphasizing that the effort invested will be worthwhile and rewarding in the long run.
Leveraging his extensive experience as a grassroots politician, the State Coordinator provided an insightful analysis of the progress made so far. He encouraged all Local Coordinators to intensify their efforts, highlighting the importance of results as the benchmark for recognition and future opportunities.
The meeting ended on a high note, with participants expressing renewed enthusiasm and a clear understanding of their roles in ensuring the success of the JDS vision. There was unanimous confidence in Engr. Jubril Dotun Sanusi’s steadfastness and determination to deliver on the shared aspirations of the group.
The session concluded with a cheerful closing prayer, reflecting the optimistic mood of all participants.
