A Former Ibadan South West Const.2 House of Assembly Aspirant in 2018 and 2022, Hon Folorunsho Elebolo Gbenga has announced his intention to vie for the Chairmanship of Ibadan South West Local Government in the forthcoming Oyo State Local Government Election scheduled to hold in 2024.
In a statement gathered when he visited the PDP Local Government Meeting on Wednesday June 21st, 2023, Hon Elebolo added that the cardinal agenda of his program includes; the provision of social amenities, transforming all departments for productive work as well as qualitative education, quality health care delivery, improved security, and welfare.
He is a bonafide and vibrant Member of PDP since 2003 who hail from SW7/55D OKE bola, Ward 08, Ibadan South West Local Government.
Hon Elebolo attended CAC primary school eleta IBADAN for his School Leaving Certificate between the year 1988-1993, CAC Grammar School Aperin Oniyere for Secondary School Education between the Year 1993-1999 and Apete Awotan Community High for National Examination Council Certificate in 2012. He later proceeded to University of Ibadan where he studied Bcs Political Science and Psychology in the Faculty of Social Science.
He further assured People that his intention to run for Chairmanship seat in Ibadan South West Local Government is to ease the suffering of his Constuency.
“I am running and I have what it takes to run, I have the credibility, I have the capacity, I have the structures based on my political experiences and if elected as Ibadan South West Local Government Chairman, I will reciprocate the Good Governance of the People’s Governor, Afogbontolu of Southwest, His Excellency Engr. Seyi Abiodun Makinde”. Also, I will make sure that my people go home with devidend of Democracy in monthly basis”, he added.
While speaking at the meeting, The PDP Ibadan South West Local Government Chairman, Hon Maruff Balogun thanked him for the donation made for people and pray that, God would answer his prayers and guide him to fulfil his promises if elected.
