Oyo State State Governor, Engr Seyi Abiodun Makinde attends Sheu Razak Elekuro 2022 Maolud Nabiyy at S4 Playing Ground and felicitates with Muslims especially those that attend the programme.
In a statement made available to Freshvoice Newsmedia signed by Media Director, Ibadan South East Local Government Seyi Makinde Re-election Campaign Council, Honourable Rasheed Akinlayo Omo Gbadamosi.
The statement reads, His Excellency urges Muslim faithful to use the occasion of Maulid Nabbiy which is the celebration of the birth of Prophet Mohammed to reflect on their daily doings.
Also, he appeals to all Muslims in Oyo State not to allow opposition parties to confuse them on religious differences as we approaching 2023 General Elections.
“My extended family is 70% Muslims and my grandfather Pa Makinde lived and died as a Muslim” he said.
While responding to all prayers offered to him by Alfas from different angles of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde donates sum of One Million Naira to Sheu Razak Elekuro Maulid Nabbiy 2022 Committee and promise to always listen to the requests of Muslim hummah in the State to proof his love for Islam.
He prays that by next year programme he would come here as a Governor of Oyo-State to show the appreciation for all Muslims in the state.
