The Office of the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Grand Imam of Oyo State, and Grand Patron of the League of Imams and Alfas of Yorubaland, Edo, and Delta States, His Eminence Sheikh AbdulGaniy Abubakry Agbotomokekere, has marked his birthday with gratitude to Almighty Allah and special recognition of individuals whose contributions have furthered the cause of Islamic development in Oyo State.
In a press statement signed by Alfa Idris, the Personal Assistant to the Chief Imam, and made available to Freshvoice Newsmedia, His Eminence offered prayers for longevity, sound health, and continued divine guidance as he clocks another year in the service of Islam and humanity.
The statement also extended warm appreciation to the Chief Executive Officer of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, and Member of the House of Representatives representing Ido/Ibarapa Federal Constituency, Hon. Aderemi Oseni, for their unwavering support and giant contributions towards the actualisation of the Agbotomokekere Central Mosque project.
“On this special occasion of Baba Imam’s birthday, we celebrate not just the life of a revered spiritual leader but also the unwavering commitment of our distinguished sons, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi and Hon. Remi Oseni, whose tireless efforts are making the vision of the Agbotomokekere Central Mosque a reality,” the statement read.
The Office reaffirmed its dedication to fostering spiritual growth, religious unity, and community development while praying for continued peace and progress in Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
