A PDP chieftain and Deputy Director General (Central) of Governor Seyi Makinde Re-election Campaign Organization, Honourable Ezekiel Oladimeji Temitope popularly known as OTOPE has won the elections at his polling unit 009 Ward 8 in Ona Ara Local Government for his party’s candidates.
The result was announced by the presiding officer at the polling unit in presence of security agents, journalists and voters who waited patiently after casting their votes.
PDP Senator, Oyebisi Ilaka polled 59 votes to beat Yunus Akintunde of All Progressives Congress who scored 23 votes, while the candidate of the Accord Party, Nurudeen FAOZEY, scored eight votes.
Also, PDP Representatives Candidate for Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Busari Olayemi polled 59 to beat the incumbent Akin Alabi who scored 15, while the Accord Candidate, Akinjide Kazeem Akinola scored 13.
