Old school dance music, tales from classmates and tutors climaxing a colourful assembly Yesterday 22nd October 2022 as Aperin Oniyere Old Students Association APOOSA holds her APOOSA Day anniversary.
Reminiscing the good old days culminating in a mix of fun with friends, teachers and family, the ceremony took place at the Agodi Gardens, Parliament Road, Ibadan.
The association, which had earlier with the effort of one of his member who is the Rector of the Polytechnic of Ibadan, Prof. Kazeem A. Adebiyi has facilitated over 300 chairs and tables from the Oyo State Ministry of Education and has roofed some dilapidated structures from the school. Also the association through Prof. Kazeem A. Adebiyi has admitted some fresh graduates from the school into the Polytechnic of Ibadan.
In his welcome address, the APOOSA President, Honourable Seun Osatuyi expressed his delight members made themselves available despite their busy engagements.
“Through the help of technology, social media to be precise, we are able to gather our members from the year 1969-till date”.
He stated the achievements of the current leadership of the Aperin Oniyere Old Students Association APOOSA under his watch in the last 2years and explained the current condition of the structures in the school.
Expressing his profound appreciation to, Prof. Kazeem A. Adebiyi, for his efforts in using his good office to support the current leadership of the APOOSA efforts is reclaiming the glory of our alma mater.

He also acknowledged the effort of the Chairman, Board of Trustees of APOOSA, Engr. Oluremi Tokede on the rapid development of the school and for his leadership role in making this day a reality one.
“This ceremony further consolidates the previous one by recognising people and each sets that have contributed immensely to the image making and growth of our Alma Mata through the Old Students Association” Honourable Osatuyi Seun added.
In his statement, a teacher that teaches the 1988 set, Mr. Adeniyi, says “You’re now a formidable force around this region. With confident that you will go beyond this based on your continuous contribution to the school. In a nutshell, I am proud of the feats most of you have accomplished in life”.

The 1971 set when the school was Adesola High School AHS dance with the Executive members and donated to the association for it’s future projects.
