Ona-Ara: God Provided us Necessary Tools of People’s In Power and We are Still Suffering. Residents Calls Out, Makinde, Folarin, Fadeyi Others Over Collapsed Bridges
Yesterday’s heavy downpour gives a terrible experiences in many parts of Ona-Ara local government area of Oyo State as rain complements Ona-Ara constituent’s agitation of good roads and bridges all across.
Few days ago, I enumerated some personalities from Ona-Ara that holds political offices, of which I revealed here the crying of the common man especially those living around Gbaremu-Olosun, Ifewumi-idiobi and Ogbere-Tioya area of the Ona-Ara local government area.

The suffering encounters every day and night when passing through Gbaremu-Olosun road, Paara-inuewe road, Ogbere-Tioya to Ariyo Road can not be explain as the suffering is becoming unbearable for all routing the area.
WHY ALWAYS US IN ONA-ARA?
The paara-inuewe bridge completely collapsed due to the recent heavy downpours. This road linked Ibadan airport, Oritamerin Tioya, old ife-road and some neighbouring communities within Ona-Ara. Paara and it’s environment has about 5000 houses with over 20,000 constituents living there. How would these people survive their daily movements? What about those that have their businesses within this environment?
WHO WILL SAFE US?
We have nobody than Almighty God, and those we entrusted with our votes in 2019. After the 2019 General Elections, Almighty God bless us with the necessary tools of people’s in power that happens to be the son’s of our soil (Ona-Ara) Starting from, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, Senator Teslim Folarin, Representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, Hon. Muhammad Fadeyi, OYHA, Deputy Speaker, and the Egbeda born , Hon. Akin Alabi, Representing Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Hon. Musibau Sanusi SHABA, Chairman Ona-Ara Local Government.
The challenges confronting residents when moving from Amuloko to Olorunsogo roads daily is unbearable, opprobrium, insupportable and unendurable.
Reconstruction of the Ogbere-Tioya bridge ongoing has stopped without any information given about when to start again or not. And we are keeping que to pass the single lane pedestrian bridge provided by the contractors handling the project.
WHAT CAN WE DO?
Nothing than appeals, inform, and laments.
Then, may be we should try to change our bearing by voting for new set of people at this coming general elections in 2023.
