Alaafin’s Demise: Oyo State Yoruba Youths Leader, Asoju Odo Alawode Pays Condolence Visit To Oyo
The Chairman of Yoruba Council of Youth Worldwide (YCYW) Oyo State Council and the Chairman of Chairmen, YCYW Nationwide, Asoju Odo Alawode Rahmon Akintunde has commiserated with the Oyo State Government and the people of Oyo Town over the death of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Lamidi Olayiwola Adéyemí III.
In his condolence message, the Chairman of the Oyo-State Yoruba Youths Council, Asoju Odo Alawode Rahmon Akintunde consoles the entire Oyo kingdom especially the immediate family on the death of the revered monarch and prayed for the repose of his soul.

Asoju Odo Alawode, in a statement signed by himself noted that the group had earlier written to the family of the deceased monarch to express condolences on the demise of the monarch.
In her response, among the eldest daughter of the monarch, Princess Folashade Adéyemí (Arewa Omo Oba) commended the group for creating time for the visit.
