As Muslims around the globe observe the sacred festival of Eid al-Adha, the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo, and Delta States, Alhaji (Dr) Dawud Makanjuola Akinola (De-Damak), has extended warm greetings and heartfelt prayers to the entire Muslim Ummah worldwide.
Eid al-Adha, which honors the unwavering devotion and obedience of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), serves as a profound reminder of the values of faith, sacrifice, compassion, and submission to Allah’s will. It is a time to renew our spiritual commitment, give generously to the needy, and foster unity across communities.
In a press release jointly signed by Akin Abolade, Special Adviser on Media to His Eminence, and Faysol Oluwakemi, AMPMA, CIMP (UK), Special Assistant on Media to His Eminence, and made available to Freshvoice Newsmedia, Alhaji Akinola conveyed his goodwill message to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima, and All Members of the Federal Executive Council, praying that Almighty Allah grants them continued wisdom, strength, and divine guidance in their leadership of the nation.
The Aare Musulumi also extended his heartfelt greetings to State Governors across the federation, applauding their individual efforts in governance and nation-building.
He further sent special salutations to His Eminence Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, Sultan of Sokoto and President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, commending his unwavering role in promoting Islamic unity and peaceful coexistence in the country.
Alhaji Akinola did not leave out the League of Imams and Alfas across Yorubaland, Edo, and Delta States, appreciating their steadfast dedication to spiritual enlightenment, community service, and upholding Islamic teachings.
Additionally, he recognized and celebrated the commitment of religious, political, and traditional leaders across Nigeria for their roles in fostering peace and unity.
