In a decisive move by the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa has been impeached from his position as Speaker following allegations of gross misconduct and abuse of office. The impeachment, which took place today, January 13, 2025, received overwhelming support, with 90% of the lawmakers voting in favor of the action.
