All is set for the foremost youth group in Ogbomosoland, Ogbomoso Togetherness Youths’ Forum Worldwide (OTYFW) to hold Dinner and Award Night.
Members of OTYFW, as a way of concluding a 3-week long activities, in celebrating the 15th year anniversary of the group’s existence, will be holding their Dinner and Award Night, on the 20th January 2023.
The venue of the event is Lagbami Osekun Civic Hall, Ogbomoso South, 1pm prompt.
To this effect, invitation letters have been sent to all and sundry, prominent personalities, dignitaries and awardees.
According to the statement made available by the pioneer President of the youth group, Prince Oyebamiji Aderemi, the categories of Award includes
– Leadership Excellence Award.
– Leadership Recognition Award.
– Prominent Personality Achievers Award.
– Prominent Personality Award.
– Brand/Entrepreneurship Award.
The event will witness presentation of Prizes and Certificates to participants of the Essay Writing Competition, Skills Acquisition Training Program, held in collaboration with DAD Foundation, in December 2022.
The grand finale of the event will as well include Lectures, Exhibitions and Launching of an ICT Centre.
The Special Guests of Honour are Engr. Seyi Makinde, the Executive Governor of Oyo State and Chief Sunday Dare, Honourable Minister of Youth and Sports Development, the Agbaakin of Ogbomosoland, Sarkin Wasanni of Hausaland.
The Royal Father of the Day, His Royal Majesty, Ọba Dr. Francis Olusola Also, The Olugbon of Orilẹ Igbon.
Fathers of the day are Alhaji Monsur Ejide, Chairman Ejide Islamic Foundation and Air Marshal Bolaji Adigun, Akogun of Ogbomosoland.
Mothers of the day are HRM Olori Oyekemi Jewel Akintola, Alapa of Okin Apa Kingdom, and RT. Hon. Mulikat Akande Adeọla, Former Majority Leader Federal House of Representatives.
Chairpersons of the day are Yeye Okanlomo Abimbola Ashabi Odebunmi and Professor Abiodun Ayanfemi Ayandele.

OTYFW, the mother of all youth groups in Ogbomosoland, has been in existence since 2017, and has been impacting the lives of the youthful generation, through series of programs, as such vocational/entrepreneurship trainings, job opportunities, Education, Sports, Seminars, Community Development Services.
The 15th year anniversary, is meant to celebrate unity, peaceful coexistence, development, progress, sustainability, also to chart the course for a greater future of hope and prosperity.
